I'm using the 3.5 mm jack for audio, I didn't even know that my machine got a microphine in, but apparently it uses the 3.5 mm jack for microphone and stereo output at the same time(?). Is there any way I can include these commands in a regular shutdown? Or do I need to write my own shutdown script for it? Instead of the loud sound I can only hear a "click" sound, which is by far less annoying. This seems to do the trick, or at least improves the situation. I really want to find out what's wrong with it and what I can do about it, maybe others are having the same issue? I know I could write two scripts, one for shutdown and one for boot, that mutes/unmutes my sound device, but this would only be a workaround and not a solution for the problem. But then I have to unmute the sound after booting up my PC. It's much louder and more annoying than in this recording, Every time I hear it, I'm afraid it will do damage to my speakers. Whenevery I shutdown KDE, there is a very loud buzzing sound. I'm fairly new to Manjaro, but up to now I'm absolutely impressed! It's such a nice system! I definitely want to keep it, there is only one issue I have:
